The Prayer at the 2026 World Cup

"God prepared me for this moment. If He allows, we will bring the sixth World Cup title home to Brazil."

During the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the largest in history, hosted across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, copies of the Portuguese edition of The Prayer: Rise with Jesus were hand-delivered to members of Brazil's national-team delegation. The books traveled with the team, carried not as merchandise but as a quiet act of faith.

For Stefania, the moment was deeply personal. Born and raised in Brazil, she had written The Prayer during the hardest season of her life, one morning prayer at a time. Seeing those prayers travel to the world's most watched sporting event, in her native language, was something she never imagined. The story was picked up by international press across at least nine countries and seven languages.

The delivery was organized by Stefania and illustrator Alexander Debelov, who traveled to Miami's Hard Rock Stadium for a book signing ahead of the tournament. Every copy was given freely, none were sold, reinforcing the mission at the heart of the book: that prayer is not a product, but a gift.
